About The Ridge Casino & Entertainment World

The Ridge Casino operated from temporary premises from 1998 while the Mpumalanga Gambling Board was in the process of awarding a permanent license.

When the license was awarded the Ridge Casino was built. It opened for operation on 24 September 2002 but was officially opened by the premier of Mpumalanga Mr. N.J. Mahlangu on 22 October 2002.

The Ridge Casino & Entertainment Resort is based just off the N4 toll freeway in Witbank and employs some 185 enthusiastic personnel. The Ridge has a smoking and a non-smoking casino with 425 slot machines and 18 tables (5 Blackjack, 10 Roulette and 3 Poker Tables).

Our entertainment and food & beverage section is made up of Cuban Coffee Sop, Baxters, Cosmic Candy, Explorers Restaurant, Hotdog Harry, Creche, MpowerFM Satellite Studio, 6 Cinemas, Ten Pin Bowling and Magic Company. We also have two hotels. The Ridge Hotel and StayEasy Hotel.
