THE RIDGE GIVING 67 MINUTES TO MTHIMKHULU

Nelson Mandela celebrates his 92nd birthday on 18 July 2010 and the world also celebrates Mandela Day by giving 67 minutes to make a difference. The Ridge Casino and Entertainment staff embraced this initiative on 16 July in Lynville at Mthimkhulu Centre & Housing for the Aged.

During the visit The Ridge donated R5 000.00 worth of kitchen equipment to help furnish 3 more house at the centre.  Joan Monaghan took the staff through the centre and showed them more than they expected from a centre for the aged.  Although The Ridge donated items to make a difference in the centre it was heart warming to see how Mthimkhulu Centre makes a difference in the community.
