To qualify, simply play any Tables Game at the casino. You need to be a Rewards cardholder at The Ridge casino and Play any Tables games to be on the leaderboard.

How Can I Enter:

  • Participants must earn points on their Reward cards when playing on any Tables game on gaming floor within promotional points earning period.
  • Leader Board points earning period:
  • Points Chase : 18 August 2023 to 23 September 2023
  • A leader boards for the Top 32 points earned [scores] will be displayed on the Jackpot Entertainment on the gaming floor for the duration of this activation.
  • The Top 32 players will face off in a knock out Roulette Knockout Tournament
  • Random draw selection will be done to determine the heat that each player will participate in and the “face-off” pairing of players will be done in similar fashion.

KNOCKOUT QUALIFYING HEATS

  • The Knockout Qualifying heats will consist of 32 players.
  • Players will arrive for a pre-launch event and to receive the player and heat allocation on Saturday 19 August 2023
  • All 32 players will play in knockout heats that will start at 19h00 on Saturday, 19 August 2023. Players will compete for a position to be in the top 16 to advance on to the next knockout stages.

KNOCKOUT ROUNDS OF 64

  • Knockout rounds of 64 will consist of 32 heats.
  • Each heat will consist of 2 players competing against one another.
  • Each player will receive 5 stacks of colour (100 pieces) and will be given 4 spins per heat. Each colour chip will have a value of R50 and R50 Roulette Table maximums will apply.
  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.
  • Players may place a multiplier Chip on any number they have placed chips on (provided that the multiplier does not exceed the R50 Table maximum). Should the number with the multiple Chip win, the players win will be multiplied by 2. This option may only be used once per player, per round.
  • In the event of a tie, each player will be issued with 2 stacks of colour (40 pieces) and will be given 1 spin. If the tie persists, the same process will ensue until a winner emerges. The multiplier does not apply in a tie break.
  • A 60 seconds countdown timer will commence directly after the last payout is completed, if any.
  • The 16 heat winners will advance on to the quarter final rounds.

KNOCKOUT ROUNDS OF 32

  • Knockout rounds of 32 will consist of 16 heats.
  • Each heat will consist of 2 players competing against one another.
  • Each player will receive 5 stacks of colour (100 pieces) and will be given 4 spins per heat. Each colour chip will have a value of R50 and R50 Roulette Table maximums will apply.
  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.

  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.

  • Each heat will consist of 2 players competing against one another.
  • Each player will receive 5 stacks of colour (100 pieces) and will be given 5 spins per heat. Each colour chip will have a value of R50 and R50 Roulette Table maximums will apply.
  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.

  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.

  • Each player will receive 5 stacks of colour (100 pieces) and will be given 5 spins per heat. Each colour chip will have a value of R50 and R50 Roulette Table maximums will apply.
  • Before each spin, players will be given 60 seconds to place bets. Once the 60 seconds runs out, no more bets will be accepted and the dealer will spin.
  • Players may place a multiplier Chip on any number they have placed chips on (provided that the multiplier does not exceed the R50 Table maximum). Should the number with the multiple Chip win, the players win will be multiplied by 2. This option may only be used once per player, per round.

Tournament Rules, Terms and Conditions
1. Only persons over the age of 18 may participate. Any person who is currently refused entry to the casino or who is self-excluded prior to or during the tournament may not participate and will be disqualified.
2. There will be no buy-ins or registration allowed for participation in the tournament.
3. This tournament is exclusive to The Ridge Rewards cardholders
4. Tournament participants will be invited via telephone communication. All communications pertaining to the tournament will be communicated to participants via telephone communications.
5. Tournament participation will be based on points earned on Roulette Tables during the promotion period.
6. At the start of each heat or final, each player shall be provided with 100 tournament chips with a tournament value of R50 per colour chip giving a total of R5,000 in value.
7. Normal R50 table limits apply, as displayed on the table.
8. No call bets or announced bets are allowed.
9. No betting is allowed during the spin.
10. At the end of the heat, quarter-final, semi-final or final, each player’s chip total will be recorded and this value will determine heat winners.
11. Players must play every spin.
12. A maximum of 60 seconds will be allowed for placing of bets. After 60 seconds, the Dealer will spin the ball and NO MORE bets will be accepted.
13. Bets cannot be changed or altered outside of the allocated 60 second betting period.
14. Each player shall keep their chips on the table in front of them at all times, and in clear view of the other players and the Supervisor.
15. In the event that a player runs out of chips before the heat/quarter-final/semi-final is over, they must leave the tournament table.
16. In the event of a tie, a spin-off will be used. An extra spin will be played and chips will be counted after one extra spin. The player with the highest chip total will progress.
17. Scores will not be carried forward to the next stage of the tournament.
18. A marker will used to indicate who bets first.
19. Once the player at the marker button has had 60 seconds to place his/her bets, the second player will be given 60 seconds to place his/her bets.
20. The marker button will move to the other player after every completed spin.
21. Players play for themselves, monies may not be pooled or transferred to other players.
22. Chip “winnings” from one tournament round will not be carried over to another tournament round. All chips must be returned to the respective table float at the end of each heat / round.
23. The Master of Ceremonies, at the finals, will announce the start of each tournament round. Participants who are not present at the actual start of the respective tournament rounds will forfeit their seats.
24. In the event that a participant cannot conclude all four days of competition, the allocated seat will be forfeited and may not be replaced by another participant. No proxy play allowed.
25. Designated and demarcated operational tables and/or tournament tables will be utilised for the tournament. Live games will not be offered at the affected operational tables during tournament rounds, however live games may resume at these tables when it is not being utilised for tournament purposes.
26. Participants do not earn Rewards Programme points during tournament play.
27. Participants’ chips are to be maintained in a visible manner on the table concerned at all times during the tournament.
28. Participants will not be allowed to share chips or make additional buy-ins.
29. Conversing with spectators will be cause for disqualification. Spectators who interfere with the game or provide assistance to the players will be cause for eviction. Players are not allowed to discuss strategies with other players, dealers or casino personnel. Players are not allowed to borrow, lend or give their tournament chips to another player.
30. Whilst every reasonable effort will be taken to ensure the accurate recording of rankings/scores, the onus shall remain with participants to ensure that their rankings/scores are correct at all times. The casino reserves the right to make the necessary corrections as soon as it becomes aware of any founded discrepancies, which corrections could change the rankings/scores of participants and allocation of prizes.
31. The Ridge Casino reserves the right to change or amend the tournament structure and/or prize package at any time.
32. Tournament Director’s decision (or a Management Representative thereof) will be deemed as final and no correspondence will be entered into.
33. Collectively this tournament will see R120,000 in CASH and FreePlay giveaways.
34. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
35. Any person transgressing the rules of this tournament will be disqualified.
36. Every participant in the tournament shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
37. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

39. In the event that there is a tie or a combined knockout, whereby all players have played all their chips an there is no winner, players will need to choose a card from a deck of cards and the player choosing the highest card will be declared the winner.
